Measurement of electrical and non-electrical physical quantities on high-speed machines



The goal is to develop measurement methods of electrical and non-electrical physical properties in the field of high-speed machines. It should be tested on a experimental setup with a high-speed synchronous machine and include: voltages (around 600V, frequencies 4 kHz), currents (around 20 A, frequencies 4 kHz), speed and rotor position (at 250 000 RPM to achieve at least 300 positions/revolution), shaft position (within some micro-meters at 250 000 RPM – for magnetic bearing control). Collaboration on the construction of an experimental setup for high-speed machine construction, development, control and testing.
