Developement of measuring, simulation and control methods with focus to high speed machines

Project status: Finished project

Identification number: SGS15/190/OHK2/3T/12

The goal of the project is to further develop the measuring, simulation and control methods with focus to high speed electrical machines started in project SGS12/178/OHK2/3T/12 where basically the infrastructure (high speed electrical machine, SiC inverter, etc.) was build. The goal is the implementation of advanced control algorithms (i.e. with respect to the computational delay), implementation of sensorless control (to eliminate the necessity to use a rotor position sensor) and the innovation of the mechanical parts such as the development of passive and active magnetic bearings, their control and the development of the encapsulation control algorithm working with the active front end unit regenerating the power to the power network.

Project leader: Doc. Ing. Martin Novák, Ph.D.
